A big part of the work we at NHMEP do during manufacturing month is connecting students to their neighboring manufacturers in an effort to retain local talent and build the pipeline of the future workforce.
If you are interested in scheduling a manufacturing tour for your students please complete the form in the link below.
https://www.nhmep.org/student-tours/
If you have set up any manufacturing tours yourself with local manufacturers, we would love to hear about this as we would like to include this information in our "NH Manufacturing Month Report." We also encourage if you take any photos to please send these photos along too as it’s always great to get a visual.
I do also want to mention that we will be having our 22nd Annual Manufacturing Summit on October 4th at the Castleton in Windham, NH from 8am-2:30pm. This is a great professional networking event that we hope you or another representative from your school can come and attend. This is an opportunity for you to meet manufacturers in the state of NH and start conversations with them. I have provided the registration link below as this is required to come and attend. Per the fee of the registration this will include breakfast, lunch, 3 keynote speakers (find this listed below in the flyer) as well as a “workforce room” new to the summit this year. If you should have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
