Formula Hybrid+Electric challenges college and university students to design, build, and race high-performance, hybrid and electric vehicles. This year, 32 teams from the United States and Canada will compete, with four teams competing with their hybrid vehicle and twenty-eight teams with battery electric vehicles.
School Day is an opportunity for middle and high school students to see what engineering really involves - creativity, teamwork, and solving real-world problems. Students will see race cars up close, talk with student engineers, and learn about college engineering programs.
Volunteers will guide each school group to team garage bays to watch the teams working on their vehicles. Team members will show the racecars to the students and answer questions.
You can plan on about two hours for the visit. Picnic tables and an onsite restaurant are available if you want to stay on for snacks or lunch.
Please complete this form or reach out to me if you would like to register for School Day or have specific questions. The event is free, and registration is required as we can accommodate a limited number of school groups. And feel free to forward this email to anyone else who may be interested!
